The Easter pageant has been a lot of fun - I never remember doing anything like it before (you know I'm not exactly a drama-type person), but even I can remember two lines. It's been fun to have Julia there, too. She's the narrator's understudy and did really well last week with only a few hours to learn her several lines.

We're excited to teach Emmy a bit more about Easter. I think she gets the lessons she learns in nursery a little bit, so it's fun to see her "talking" to us in her hand gestures about what she learns in her lessons. She's a silly kid.

I love the pageant put on by our home stake -- what a neat experience to be part of it.

The missionaries essentially gave us this challenge from Elder Scott around Christmastime. It was a good experience to contemplate the Atonement; I learned a lot about how the Atonement applies to *me*.

And Logan asked me the other day, "What's Easter?" It was neat to try to explain, in simple terms, the wonderful story of the resurrection.
